With more than 15 years of experience across corporate, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial sectors, she is widely recognized as a master connector who translates strategy into measurable impact and builds platforms that expand access to opportunity.
As Founder and Principal of NIARA Consulting, Jodi leads advisory engagements focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), executive leadership development, and strategic growth. She partners with organizations to design people-centered strategies that increase engagement, align business objectives with cultural impact, and develop future-ready leadership pipelines. She also serves as a DEIB advisor at ParagonOne, supporting corporate partners including Honda, The Home Depot, and Boeing, and consults on workforce development initiatives such as the National Urban League’s BEEP program.
Jodi is also a leading architect of high-impact pitch ecosystems. Since 2011, she has served as the Creator, Producer, and Host of the National Urban League’s Small Business Matters Pitch Contest, building a nationally recognized platform that elevates underrepresented entrepreneurs and connects them to capital and corporate visibility. She has additionally served as curator, coach, producer, and judge for competitions including Count Me In, Black Enterprise, 100 Urban Entrepreneurs, and Sistah’s in Business—coaching hundreds of founders on messaging strategy, executive presence, and investor readiness.
Her executive leadership experience includes serving as Chief of Staff at Culture Shift Labs and Director of Corporate Relations at the New York Urban League, where she led multimillion-dollar fundraising initiatives and corporate partnership strategy. As Director of Diversity & Inclusion Sourcing at DTCC, she developed global talent pipelines across the financial services industry.
Jodi is also the Chief Partnerships Officer and Co-Founder of Venture Philanthropy Blueprint (VPB), where she connects entrepreneurs, funders, and ecosystem leaders advancing impact-driven ventures. She is the Founder of BLENDiD, a storytelling and community platform for biracial and multiracial individuals, reflecting her commitment to identity, culture, and connection.
